Maureen O'Hara Biography

Maureen O'Hara is a famous American artist and performer who are both of Irish origin. The passionate, passionate and fiery character she played in various American films is what brought attention to the green-eyed beauty. Her beautiful and glamorous appearance was highly praised and she was widely regarded as the 'Queen of Technicolor' in Hollywood. Her onscreen characters reflected her strong, brave spirit who fought for respect and survival in the male-dominated society. She described herself as "the tough Irish lass" and she did not sacrifice her respect for others to obtain the roles she was entitled by merit. She was an ardent supporter of women's roles on television and in films, and gained a large following because of it. The autobiography of her, 'Tis herself', published in 2004, provided an honest and authentic description of her experience, including her struggles while climbing the ladder to success. She was an adventurous person who was never afraid to perform her own stunts. She was a part of more than 60 films, and was a actor across the world. Moving on from Parra She remarried in 1968 with Charles F. Blair Jr. who was a brigadier in the past and chief pilot and an early pioneer in transatlantic aviationto mention some of the accomplishments. O'Hara went on to retire a few years after they got married. Blair was tragically killed in an airplane crash in 1978. This ended O'Hara's happiness. The same year, she was diagnosed with having uterine cancer . She had undergo surgery immediately. The cancer eventually cleared. Her health began to decline as time went by and she was diagnosed with heart attacks that caused six short-term memory loss and diabetes mellitus type 2. O'Hara who was 95 years old, peacefully passed away in Boise on October 24, 2015.
